Joseph Gerrard Ney, Designer/Project Manager
Joseph Gerrard Ney graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Architecture in 1990. His first job was with HE Architects as a CAD draftsman working on grade schools and multifamily projects. During this time, Joe gained experience with various aspects of hands-on construction in the fields of masonry, carpentry, and tile setting.
In 1991 he traveled extensively throughout Europe, studying the ancient architecture of Prague, Paris, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Returning to the US, Joe settled in Aspen, Colorado, where he focused his energy primarily on such high-profile projects as the Wright residence (CEO of NBC), and pop diva Cher’s previous home.
Joseph moved to the Bay Area in 2000 where he continued his focus on high end residential; completing projects in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights and Marina District, Palo Alto, and the East Bay. His interests are his 8-year-old daughter Zoe, yoga, skiing, and art of all kinds.
